I’m Cara Rush.
I'm a certified Health Coach and a Functional Movement Specialist with a lifelong passion for movement and wellness. Growing up as an athlete with hyper mobility and a neurodiverse brain, I developed a deep appreciation for the power of the body, and the importance of taking care of it, and adapting to my individual movement & brain needs.
I offer neurodiversity-affirming movement and wellness support for individuals with ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivities, and other neurodivergent experiences. My approach is nervous-system-informed, adaptable, and collaborative—centering consent, clear communication, and flexibility in pacing, cues, and environment. With a neurodiverse brain myself, I understand what it feels like to navigate movement that feels right in our bodies and minds.
Sessions are designed to support regulation, body awareness, strength, and confidence without forcing conformity to one “right” way of moving or being.
My approach blends functional movement, yoga, and strength work as well as personalized habit coaching, guided by both knowledge and intuition. I listen deeply to the body, to my clients, and to the moment to create practices that feel supportive, effective, and aligned. I structure my programming to be accessible and inclusive, meeting each individual where they are, because everybody should feel free to live the life they want to live, and not be limited by their body.
As one of the organizers of Seattle’s famous Yoga in The Park, my mission has been to bring wellness and healing to the community on an individual and larger scale.
Whether you’re an athlete, a busy professional, or simply ready to feel better in your body, I’m here to support your journey, body, mind, and soul.
My Approach
A path to a healthier existence is not a one size fits all journey. That is why I custom create every program and ensure that it is tailor made for you. Your experience is truly specialized, and there is no other like it.
Neuro Repatterning Through Movement
I integrate neuro repatterning into my work to help clients rewire the way their bodies move, respond, and feel. Through intentional, functional movement patterns, we tap into the nervous system to interrupt outdated habits, whether they show up as pain, tension, compensation, or dysregulation.
This isn’t about pushing harder, it’s about creating new pathways.
By combining breathwork, proprioceptive awareness, and targeted movement sequences, we teach the brain and body to communicate more efficiently. Over time, this builds resilience, improves mobility and coordination, and supports a more regulated, grounded state. Both physically and emotionally.
